FROZEN Musical at Bucuresti in 2016
Romanian Foundation for Excellence in Music, in partnership with “George Enescu” Philharmonic and Romanian Cultural Institute, presents on 7th and 8th October 2016 two event-concerts with 1st Act of Parsifal opera by Richard Wagner, with the occasion of “George Enescu” Philharmonic opening gala for concerts season 2016/17.
• The most important cultural musical event of the year in Romania
• Two high class artistic performances.
• The Parsifal project involves Romanian musicians and Romanian institutions, in collaboration with renowned foreign artists.
“The project <<Parsifal at Romanian Athenaeum>> initiated in May 2015 it`s a beginning for the construction of a Wagner tradition in Romania, which involves Romanian artists in collaboration with famous foreign artists , to familiarize the audience with the work of the great German composer” (Christian Badea)
Romanian audience will beneficiate of the highest artistic performances, made by global known artists. Under master`s Christian Badea wand will be George Enescu Philharmonic orchestra &choire, and guest soloists, considered to be the most important Wagner interprets of the moment: •?tefan Vinke (Parsifal) •Petra Lang (Kundry) •Eric Halfvarson (Gurnemanz) •Bela Perencz (Amfortas)
Parsifal it`s a complete show where the musical components join complex theatrical elements: lights, decor, costumes, special visual and sound effects.
There are used all the acoustic and architectural characteristics of Athenaeum, a historical symbol hall, which plays an essential role through its architecture and acoustic, unic in the word. Regarding those aspects, public`s experience will be overwhelming.
Concert-events <<Parsifal at Romanian Athenaeum>> - is a new and unique concept in Romania and worldwide because it presents Wagner creation in a performance where the public is involved in the action.
Christian Badea is the most important and well known Romanian opera conductor, cheered on the most important stages and opera houses from the world, like Metropolitan Opera – New York, Royal Opera House of Covent Garden – Londra, Wiener Staatsoper, Bayerische Staatsoper – München, Hamburg Staatsoper, Copenhaga, Budapesta, Stockholm, Oslo, Opera Australia – Sydney etc.
